“Please do not play with your toys on the living room furniture!”---that may be something you hear very often. If you are thinking this toyhouse is for girls only, think again! For one it is a classy neutral brown, _________bright pink. Also, Amy has built it just right size for those Star Wars characters to live in. And best of all, because the walls can be made to order, the coffee table can change into a beautiful palace or a control deck for a starship!

The Qubis Haus comes with full sets for the bedroom. Living room and the dining room. All the pieces of furniture are magnetic(地磁的),so they stay put! 【1】We're increasingly living in a world where physical activity has stopped being a day-to-day part of our lives. We have domestic appliances to wash and dry for us and cars to get us around, and with the decline in manual labour many of us spend our working day sitting at desks.

【2】 In fact, there's a well-established theory that moderate physical activity is, for most people, the best way to better health. If you start off doing too much too soon, you'll get fed up and stop, get injured or even make yourself ill. 【4】 Adults should do a minimum of 30 minutes moderate-intensity physical activity, five days a week.

【5】You don't have to do the whole 30 minutes in one go. Your half-hour could be made up of three ten-minute bursts of activity spread through the day, if you prefer.

【6】The activity can be a 'lifestyle activity' (in other words, walking to the shops or taking the dog out) or structured exercise or sport, or a combination of these. But it does need to be of at least moderate intensity.

【7】People who are at specific risk from obesity, or who need to manage their weight because of a medical condition, need 45-60 minutes of exercise at least five times a week.

(1) What is the single largest cause of sick leave in the UK? The answer is not the common cold or flu, but back pain. Back pain affects one in three British adults, costs the country over £5 billion every year and is extremely difficult to treat.

(2)But now Britain's National Health Service (NHS) will be offering a new solution: acupuncture (針灸).The ancient Chinese needle treatment has been around in the UK for many  years, but this is the first time it has been officially supported.

(3)Traditionally, doctors in the UK have advised back pain sufferers to stay active, do stretching exercises and take painkillers when necessary. In more serious cases some people are given X-ray treatment or injections.

(4)The National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE), however, say there is evidence that acupuncture may_____ than expensive X-rays or injections, so patients who have been suffering for over six weeks should be given a choice. As an alternative to acupuncture, patients will be able to opt for either a course of spinal manipulation (脊椎推拿), or a series of special exercise sessions.

(5)In the UK, acupuncture is classed as a complementary treatment, which is the term given to a medical procedure which hasn't gone through the strict trials by which scientists prove some treatments work.

(6)While many experts have welcomed the move to make acupuncture available on the NHS, some are still sceptical about its effectiveness. Research from the US earlier this month found that simulated acupuncture using toothpicks which do not make a hole in the skin could be as good as using real needles. So while some are yet to be convinced, back pain sufferers will be hoping that acupuncture helps get them feeling healthy and mobile again. 閱讀下面短文,并根據短文后的要求答題(請注意問題后的字數要求)。

How to protect child Web fans from unsuitable material online while encouraging them to use the Internet has long been discussed.

For some parents, the Internet seems like a jungle, filled with dangers for their children. But jungles contain wonders as well as dangers. With good guides and some education, the madness for the Internet can be safely conducted.“Kids have to be online. If we tell our kids they can’t have access to the Internet, we are cutting them off from their future.”

Most kids have started to use search engines. Many of them are great for finding tons of interesting Internet sites, but they can also locate places where you might not want your kids to go.There are search engines designed just for kids. One certain software contains only sites that have been selected as safe. The most popular way to limit access would be to use what is known as a “content screener”.But this can be wholly reliable, and the best thing parents can do is to talk to their kids and let them know what is OK or not OK to see or do on the Internet.Another way is that Mum or Dad is nearby when the child is surfing the Internet.

A few other tips :

—Don’t put the PC in a child’s room but                                  where Mum or Dad can keep an eye on things. That also makes the Internet more of a family activity.

—Ask your child what he or she has been doing and about any friends they make online.

—Tell your child not to give online strangers personal information, especially like address and phone number.

—And tell your child never to talk to people he or she meets online over the phone, send them anything, accept anything from them or agree to meet with them unless you go along.
